Well this weekend I went to the Armageddon pulp expo (http://pulpexpo.com/) on in Wellington. I got to see Billy Dee Williams who plays Lando Calrissian in Starwars 4 & 5. Was cool to go along and see some of the poeple behind the tv series and movies I've seen and enjoyed. Highlight of the event for me wasn't Lando but Aaron Douglas from Battlestar Galactica who was really into the series himself.
After geeking out at Armageddon I went home to grab some dinner before heading out and seeing The Graduate at Downstage Theatre which was based on the novel by Charles Webb that was made into a movie starting Dustin Hoffman. I must admit the main character who was playing the same character has Hoffman had a very similar persona. Though I'm yet to see the actual movie I really enjoyed the play.
